The Humanism Camp, part of the Summer Fest 2025, recently concluded in Shamakhi, bringing together250 young participants to explore humanistic values, emotional understanding, and social responsibility. Running from July 21 to 25, 2025, this initiative aimed to cultivate responsible citizenship among youths and promote discussions on critical societal issues.
The camp was designed to engage young people in a variety of activities, including educational sessions, motivational speeches, and interactive trainings. Participants engaged in discussions on topics such as human rights, empathy, and volunteerism, all focused on enhancing their social skills and knowledge. The open-air, tent format fostered a conducive environment for lively exchanges.
Activities and Highlights
In addition to discussions, the camp featured master classes, quest games, and sports competitions that aimed to develop creativity and teamwork. A notable excursion to the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory sparked interest in astronomy among participants.
Evening programs added a festive flair to the camp, with young participants presenting skits in various styles, enjoying DJ performances, and sharing moments around a bonfire. Many expressed that the friendships and insights gained during the camp profoundly impacted their lives.
The Summer Fest 2025 is structured to include eight thematic camps, focusing on topics such as “National and Spiritual Values,” “Solidarity,” “Justice and Law,” and “Victory Diplomacy.” This initiative aims to engage over 2,000 young people throughout its duration, which extends until August 29, 2025.
