Ukraine Targets Over 90 Firms with New Sanctions on Metal Extraction

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced significant new sanctions affecting over 90 companies involved in the extraction of critical metals for military production. In a statement, Zelensky confirmed that the National Security and Defense Council has approved new sanctions decisions. The latest package specifically targets structures linked to Russia’s shadow tanker fleet, as well as 53 individuals and organizations from Russia, China, Iran, and other nations.
