Travellive Media Group Launches HOTLIST 2025 to Honor Tourism Excellence
Travellive Media Group has unveiled the HOTLIST Travellive Editor’s Pick 2025, a project designed to recognize exceptional brands, destinations, and individuals that have significantly contributed to Vietnam’s tourism sector in the past year. Announced on January 3, 2026, this curated initiative reflects the evolving market values and showcases outstanding achievements in the industry.
This year’s theme, “From Seed to Harvest,” draws inspiration from rice, a cornerstone of Vietnam’s culture and history. The metaphor emphasizes the journey of nurturing ideas and resources, ultimately leading to sustainable accomplishments in tourism and hospitality. The theme is particularly relevant as the sector faces challenges such as climate change and shifting traveler preferences.
The selection process for HOTLIST 2025 involved a prestigious advisory council of both domestic and international experts. Criteria for selection included quality, innovation, social impact, and potential for sustainable growth. The initiative also introduces a public voting component, allowing community members and industry professionals to engage directly in the evaluation process. This move aims to foster greater interaction and gather firsthand experiences related to the shortlisted brands and projects.
Recognizing Excellence Across Key Categories
HOTLIST 2025 encompasses seven main categories: Hospitality, Aviation, Travel Design & Experiences, Destination, Technology & Innovations, Sustainability, and Community Projects & Voices. Each category aims to spotlight exemplary individuals and brands that influence the future of Vietnam’s tourism landscape.
Returning honorees include well-established names such as Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai in Hoi An, Topas Ecolodge, and Six Senses Ninh Van Bay. New international entrants making a positive impact in Vietnam include voco Quang Binh Resort by IHG and Park Hyatt Phu Quoc. In the Aviation category, STARLUX AIRLINES stands out for its premium flight experience.
The expansion of award categories highlights HOTLIST’s dedication to capturing the dynamics of the industry while promoting responsible development that respects local identities and fosters social benefits.
Upcoming Events to Foster Engagement
To support its mission of delivering practical value to the tourism sector, HOTLIST 2025 will host The Insiders Forum in Hanoi on January 7, 2026, at the Sheraton Hanoi West, and in Ho Chi Minh City on January 19, 2026, at the JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon. These forums will bring together business leaders, experts, and researchers to discuss key issues shaping the tourism landscape.
On January 19, 2026, the Honor Ceremony will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, officially recognizing the brands, projects, and individuals featured in HOTLIST 2025. This event will also serve as a networking platform for industry stakeholders, facilitating connections that can lead to future collaborations.
With each edition, the HOTLIST Travellive Editor’s Pick has become a highly anticipated annual reference for the tourism community. It builds on credibility and a sustainability-driven orientation, promoting excellence in the sector. Through recognition activities, dialogue forums, and community connections, Travellive not only highlights industry achievements but also contributes to the promotion of sustainable practices within tourism.
This year, HOTLIST 2025 is supported by The Brand Promise, serving as the co-organizer of The Insiders Forum, and various sponsors including BMWines and Lady Trieu. The initiative continues to amplify meaningful stories and connect outstanding individuals and organizations, sharing positive values with a broad audience.
