Ken Chu Addresses Exclusion from F4 Reunion Tour Plans
Taiwanese singer and actor Ken Chu publicly addressed his absence from the upcoming reunion tour of the popular boy band F4 on his social media accounts on December 8, 2023. The tour features fellow members Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou, and is set to begin on December 19, 2023.
In his statement, Chu revealed that he learned about his exclusion from the tour through online reports, expressing disappointment at not being informed directly. He noted that he had previously declined demands from B’in Music, the agency organizing the reunion tour, which led to a sudden end to communication between him and the tour’s organizers. The nature of these demands has not been disclosed, leaving fans speculating about the circumstances surrounding his departure.
Despite the situation, Chu extended his best wishes to his former bandmates, indicating a desire for future collaboration. He emphasized his hope for a reunion with the group at a later date, showcasing his enduring connection to F4.
The tour, which will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China, is highly anticipated by fans. It includes a four-night concert series, featuring special guest Ashin from the band Mayday. Recently, Ashin collaborated with F4 and Jay Chou on the song “Forever Forever,” which has garnered over 19 million views on YouTube.
As the reunion approaches, fans are eager to see how the dynamics among the remaining members will unfold and whether they will address Chu’s absence during the performances. The excitement surrounding F4’s return to the stage highlights the band’s lasting impact on the music scene and their devoted fan base.
