iQIYI and Vision+ Launch “Combo Asia” to Transform Entertainment in Indonesia
iQIYI International has partnered with Vision+, Indonesia’s leading OTT platform, to introduce “Combo Asia,” a new membership service aimed at enhancing the entertainment experience for local users. Officially announced on December 1, 2025, this collaboration integrates iQIYI’s extensive library of Asian entertainment with Vision+’s robust sports offerings, providing a comprehensive solution that encompasses C-dramas, live sports events, films, variety shows, and anime.
The launch event in Singapore featured the presence of iQIYI International Global Ambassador Esther Yu, who highlighted the significance of the partnership. The “Combo Asia” service will be available on both the iQIYI App and Vision+ App, effectively combining the benefits of iQIYI VIP Standard and Vision+ Premium Sports into a single, cost-effective package. This initiative aims to offer Indonesian viewers a richer and more convenient entertainment experience.
Dinesh Ratnam, Senior Managing Director for iQIYI in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, stated, “In the rapidly changing landscape of digital entertainment, we believe strong partnerships are key to meeting growing user demands.” He emphasized that “Combo Asia” merges Vision+’s strengths in sports and local content with iQIYI’s acclaimed Chinese and Asian entertainment, catering to the increasing demand for Chinese dramas and micro-dramas in Indonesia.
Vision+ Deputy CEO Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that “Combo Asia” harmoniously blends exclusive sports resources, such as the AFC and Bundesliga, with original series that resonate with local audiences. This combination not only enhances viewing choices for users but also aims to foster community connections through both online content and offline experiences.
During the launch, Esther Yu introduced her upcoming iQIYI drama, “Speed and Love,” to the Indonesian audience. The presentation included a commemorative gift exchange between Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo and Li Kaichen, Vice President of APAC & Middle East at iQIYI International, highlighting the collaborative spirit of “Combo Asia.” Senior executives from both companies joined on stage for a group photo, symbolizing their commitment to integrating high-quality content from both platforms.
As part of the “iQIYI Starship Project,” a series of interactive activities followed the launch, including a fan meeting where Esther Yu engaged with local culture. She learned Bahasa Indonesia, sampled traditional dishes, and participated in popular TikTok-style videos, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere. These interactions reflect the long-term dedication of the “iQIYI Starship Project” to promote artists’ international activities and strengthen ties with fans.
Moving forward, iQIYI and Vision+ plan to deepen their collaboration across various domains, including content creation, marketing, and product development. This partnership aims to streamline the viewing experience for users and enhance advertising opportunities. Additionally, both parties are exploring localized content production and commercial collaboration to further solidify iQIYI International’s brand value in the Indonesian market.
The launch of “Combo Asia” marks a significant step in reshaping the entertainment landscape in Indonesia, offering viewers a diverse array of content options while fostering a sense of community through shared experiences.
